The House in Montevideo (1963 film)

The House in Montevideo GermanDas Haus in Montevideo is a 1963 German comedy film directed by Helmut Kutner and starring Heinz Rhmann, Ruth Leuwerik and Paul Dahlke. A respectable professor inherits a house and money in Montevideo from his wild sister, on the condition that he himself behaves in a disreputable way. It was based on the 1945 play The House in Montevideo by Curt Goetz which had previously been turned into a film in 1951.
